My four grandchildren moved over 2000 miles away and I haven’t seen them or kissed them for over 27 months.
But I know they are healthy and thriving in their family environment and being raised as Christians – and that gives me joy.
The love we share cannot be breached by any mountain range nor any raging river, nor will it diminish with the passage of time.
I will not see them tomorrow and probably not this year, but I possess a joy we are on identical paths to be together for eternity.

God grants us joy in abundance.
He enables us to love, find a spouse, have children, and then grandchildren, and perhaps even great grandchildren and the love keeps multiplying.
Others may not enjoy those blessings but we all have one thing in common:
The joy of God’s love. Wherever we are.
Joy doesn’t have to be in our hands, our pockets, or even our homes.
It’s in our hearts.
I am trying to find joy in this one but the sting is very fresh still and it’s even hard to type. I find joy in the incredible love that is in all our hearts for one another and will continue to grow….and am very thankful to our God!
Amen!
I don’t know who you wrote this for but you helped a brother out.
Hey, that’s powerful. Thanks for the news.
