Harold refused to deliver the basket filled with colored eggs and candy.
“Why must you be so difficult about this every single year?” asked Marvin, his nose twitching with agitation.
“I could never understand why we have to deliver those eggs,” said Harold. “We’re rabbits. You can’t lay eggs!”
“I wouldn’t even if I could,” Marvin said. “I know this chick who says it’s very painful.”
“Easter is a commercially celebrated event and really has nothing to do with this Pagan influenced hoax you’re trying to perpetrate on children,” declared Harold.
Then Marvin asked, “Then why do you ceremonialize it every year?”
“I celebrate the resurrection of my creator.”
